⌚ The Wearable Interpreter
Most people wear an Oura, Apple Watch, or Whoop, but they suffer from Data Fatigue. You see a sleep score of 72 or an HRV of 45ms, but you don’t know what to do with that information.
This isn’t about tracking more—it’s about turning the data you already have into decisions.
⚡ The 2-Minute Workflow
This is the highest-return tactic for turning raw biometrics into a personalized recovery plan.
You only need 14 days of data to get meaningful insights.
1. Export Your Data (CSV Preferred)
- Oura / Whoop: Log into the web dashboard and export the last 14 days of “Trends.”
- Apple Watch: Use the Health app to “Export All Health Data,” or use a utility like AutoSleep to generate a clean CSV.
- The Shortcut: If you’re in a rush, take 2–3 screenshots of your weekly trend screens (HRV, Sleep Stages, and Readiness).
2. Choose Your AI
Use a model with strong reasoning and a “Vision” component if you’re using screenshots. Claude (Anthropic) is currently the gold standard for health‑data interpretation due to its calm, non‑hyperbolic tone.
3. The “Coach” Prompt
Paste your data or upload your file and use this exact prompt:
The Prompt:
“I am a high-performing professional with a busy schedule. Attached is my wearable health data from the last 14 days.
Act as a world-class sports physiologist and recovery coach. Analyze this data for trends in my HRV, Deep Sleep, and Resting Heart Rate.
Provide three things:
- The ‘Why’: What is the data telling you about my current stress balance?
- The ‘Move’: Should I push hard today, or prioritize a Zone 2 recovery walk?
- The ‘Fix’: What is the #1 specific change I should make to my evening routine tonight?
Example output: “Your HRV dipped for three nights following late meals; shift your dinner 90 minutes earlier to restore deep sleep.””
🧘 Why This Works
Standard apps give you “Scores.” AI gives you Context.
- The App says: “You slept 6 hours.”
- The AI Coach says: “You slept 6 hours, but your heart rate didn’t settle until 4 AM — likely from late caffeine. Try cutting it off two hours earlier.”
⚠️ A Note on Privacy
Most wearable exports contain only timestamps and biometric values, but it’s still smart to double‑check.
Never upload data that contains your Social Security number, home address, or full legal name to a public AI model. Scrub the file for personal identifiers before uploading to ensure your data remains your own.
